MTC Orientation

MyTherapyCompany is committed to providing the highest caliber of qualified professional Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists, School Psychologists and Special Education Teachers in the industry.

Prior to establishing an assignment within the district, each MTC Therapist is trained in accordance with our employee-based managed therapy model. The purpose of this orientation is to equip each therapist with a working knowledge of the new changes in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

All therapists are educated as to the responsibilities and expectations of their school-based assignment, and are thoroughly trained on "educationally relevant" therapy goals. Additionally, the orientation provides conflict resolution techniques in handling delicate situations which may sometimes arise.

All duties are performed in accordance with the requirement of your district. Service is defined but not limited to:

• ISA's
• Pre-screening
• Screenings
• Medical logs
• IEP's
• Therapy notes
• Progress Reports
• Individual-Small Group Therapy
• Supervision of Assistants
• In-Service Attendance
• Student Attendance
• Record Keeping
• Consultations with Parents, School Personnel and District Staff.
